How to Prepare a Private Label Diaper Product Brief

A clear product brief helps importers, distributors, retail chains, and brand owners communicate their private label diaper project requirements to potential suppliers. It also supports more structured discussions about packaging, documentation, approvals, logistics, and purchasing.

1. Introduce Your Business and Target Market

State your target country, intended sales channels, customer profile, commercial positioning, and the purpose of the project.

2. Describe Your Brand Requirements

Provide the brand name, visual identity materials where available, intended packaging language, and the way you want the brand to be presented.

3. Define Relevant Product Discussion Points

List the product options you want to discuss with the supplier. Do not assume features, materials, performance, certifications, dimensions, pack counts, MOQ, or lead times unless directly confirmed.

4. Outline Packaging and Labelling Needs

Include packaging format, artwork workflow, labelling needs, carton requirements, approval process, and destination-market considerations.

5. Share Your Purchasing Plan

Explain your expected order-planning approach, intended shipment structure, preferred delivery arrangement, and future purchasing expectations without presenting unconfirmed quantities as fixed commitments.

6. Clarify Documentation and Import Needs

Identify the commercial, shipping, or destination-market documents your organisation expects to discuss. Buyers should independently verify applicable requirements.

7. Define the Sample Review Process

State who will review samples, which internal criteria will be used, and how feedback will be communicated to the supplier.

8. Establish Project Communication

Identify responsible contacts, approval steps, revision process, project timeline expectations, and the next commercial discussion point.
